In Chrome, I've ensured that under chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments, that the sole option for "Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome" is disabled. When I load a webpage that has a PDF, I can click on the extension icon and choose the "Open in Acrobat" option but instead of opening in Reader DC, it chooses to download the file locally to my Downloads folder and never automatically opens in Reader DC.
